Pappa Bakes is the baking passion of JC Snooke — a storyteller, host, and proud dad who believes that some of life’s best moments happen in the kitchen.

What began as a love for baking bread, pastries, cookies, and comforting treats slowly turned into something more than just a hobby. Baking became a way for JC to slow down, experiment with flavours, and create food that brings people together around the table.

But the real heart of Pappa Bakes lies in family. Much of the inspiration comes from JC’s twin boys, Luka and Liam, who are often the first tasters, critics, and enthusiastic helpers when something new comes out of the oven. Baking together has become a way of sharing time, making memories, and teaching them the joy of creating something by hand.

Outside the kitchen, JC is known for his creative work as a producer and storyteller, and for hosting guests at On 9th Street Guesthouse in Linden. Pappa Bakes brings those worlds together — creativity, hospitality, and the simple pleasure of sharing good food.

At its core, Pappa Bakes is about honest baking: simple ingredients, generous flavours, and the belief that food has a way of connecting people.
